USI Università della Svizzera italiana

As part of the federal system of higher education, USI Università della Svizzera italiana is the leading Swiss university in the field of communication. Whereas at most institutes of higher learning, communication studies is offered by the department of journalism or media studies, USI is unique in that it has a fullfledged and independent communication faculty, ensuring a well-rounded and encompassing education.
This distinctive setup makes the university a natural base for different executive programs in communication. The Executive Master of Science in Communications Management (EMScom) is a part-time, executive master specifically designed for experienced communications professionals. One of the first programs of its kind in Europe, EMScom was founded in 1999 as part of post-graduate studies offered at the USI Università della Svizzera italiana, Switzerland. Courses are conducted in English over a 21-month period. A multinational faculty of more than 30 professors from renowned institutions around the world ensures the program's academic excellence and its international orientation. The program cooperates with the UCLA Anderson School of Management and is held in conjunction with Singapore Management University giving participants a unique opportunity to study side by side with Asian colleagues.

.HarbourClub.

.HarbourClub. is a forum for corporate leaders who no longer feel at home in the traditional association structure of the communication sector: people for whom the designation spokesperson, PR manager, sponsoring officer or advertising director is insufficiently descriptive because they bear responsibility for the entire communication of an enterprise. The club was founded in 2000 at the Harbour House in Zurich – hence our name. The number of members is limited to 100. Members are active Chief Communications Officers (CCO) of Swiss organizations and at maximum ten persons who play crucial roles in the Swiss communications landscape.
