Steffen Raub

Dr. Steffen Raub is Vice Dean – Research and Faculty and Full Professor of organizational behavior at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, CH.

Dr. Steffen Raub is Vice Dean – Research and Faculty and Full Professor of organizational behavior at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland. He has taught at Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) Lausanne, HEC Geneva, and at the School of Management of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, Thailand. He has been a visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill, US. He holds master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany, and ESSEC, France, and a PhD in management from the University of Geneva in Switzerland.

Professor Raub’s research focuses on empowerment, organizational citizenship behavior and proactive behavior in organizations. His work has been published in Journal of Applied Psychology,  Human Relations, Work & Stress,  European Management JournalJournal of Information Technology and International Journal of Hospitality Management, and he is a co-author of the best-selling volume on Managing Knowledge (John Wiley).

Professor Raub has consulted with a variety of multinational corporations and has conducted seminars and workshops on the key issues of organizational behavior, including motivation, leadership, teamwork, decisions in organizations, creativity, and knowledge management.
