For more than a decade, employer branding has been a much discussed topic in the communications, HR and branding communities. There is a growing understanding that sourcing and retaining talent is more than HR marketing. Rather it is a core element of positioning an organization in the market. Although the topic is strongly linked to corporate communications, communications experts usually play a minor role in high profile employer branding projects. The Roundtable hosted by Farner Consulting on October 25 addresses the role communications professionals can and should play in developing an authentic employer positioning and implementing a sustainable employer brand.
